Ombre Brows is a form of cosmetic artistry created with a digital tattoo machine specially produced for Permanent make-up. This technique implants small pixels of pigment using a shading motion. Ombre creates a fuller brow similar to make-up or a brow tint. Ombre brows last between 12-24 months depending on skin type.

The Procedure - What to expect when you come for your treatment.

Booking Consultation
This is FREE to book, a full consultation will always taken place before your initial treatment. This will enable me to get a clear understanding of your needs and what you wish to achieve . Full medical history will be taken to insure you are suitable for the treatment. All the Pre-treatment advice and after care will be given to you so you can be prepared for your treatment. The consultation will give you the time to ask any questions so you can be ready for your treatment in confidence. Finally I will preform a test patch ready for your treatment. Your microblading procedure can be booked at the appointment. Booking your consultation can be made by phone, email or our online booking system.

Initial treatment
Firstly I will design your desired brow shape. This Mapping stage will be achieved using guides , precise measurements and an expert eye to achieve the shape that best suits your face shape and bone structure . We will work together until you are 100% happy with the design before I start the tattoo stage.

Tattooing
Now its time for your new brows to life! At most you will feel a small scratch sensation throughout the treatment. The pixels will be added throughout the brows to create a full defined effect. This initial treatment will take up to 3 hours. An after care pack will be given to you with instructions to look after your Brows while they are healing.

6-8 Week Top up

After 6 weeks its time to prefect any areas as your brows have healed, At this point we can also adjust the shape slightly or colour if needed .We advice you come back for colour boosts every 12-18 months, this will vary from person to person depending on ski type.

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a form of tattoo artistry also known as permanent make up, where pigment is implanted under your skin using a sterile disposable hand tool, Tiny crisp hair strokes are created by hand, following the natural direction of your brows. This will create fullness and more definition yet very natural.

What is Ombre brows?

Does Permanent make up hurt?

Although a form of tattooing, the pain factor experienced is much less,As it is less invasive and more superficial. The discomfort will be differentfrom person to person due to individuals level of sensitivity. I recommendapplying topical numbing before the treatment to help you stay comfortablethrough the treatment. Most clients have no issues with the sensation.

How long will they last?

This all depends on the individual due to skin type, lifestyle and environmental factors. The pigment will fade quicker for those who are sunbed users and/or have excessive sun exposure. I would recommend always protecting your brows with a SPF to keep the colour vibrant. I recommend colour boost treatments every 9-12 months for Microblading and 12-18 months for Ombre brows to keep them looking fresh. If you do not have your colour boost the colour will fade gradually.

What will I look like straight after the treatment?

Your brows will look slightly red and you may experience minimal tenderness straight after the treatment, this will vary from person to person. This will subside within 1-2 hours. They will start to look darker a few hours after the treatment. It can be around 50% darker, becoming lighter after 4-7days.

How long will it take?

The full Initial treatment will take 3 hours. Your top up treatment can take from 1 hour – 1.5 hours.

How quickly will it heal?

Everyone is different, but as a general rule the surface skin generallyheals between 3-7 days after the treatment, and 10 – 14 days below the surface. The full healing process will take from 4-6 weeks. Please read the healing process blog to gain more information on the healing process.

What is the After care?

I will provide you with extensive after care instructions. Alone with a aftercare pack to help your brows heal well. Remember that the colour is up to 50% DARKERimmediately after the treatment and the next day. They will start to becomelighter after 4 –7 days. Do not pick your brows while they are healing. It is important that you do not exercise for 7 day following your appointment. Itis also vital you do not get your brows wet for 7 days following your treatment. The true healed colour will be visible around the approximately 4 –6 weeks after the initial treatment. During the healing process, the colour may seem to have disappeared as it is hidden beneath the healing layers of skin. You need to let your skin heal, please do not have any other brow treatments in between your initial treatment and touch up.

What is the permanent make up process?

Your Journey will start with an initial consultation, we will use this time to discuss your needs, what you want to achieve and together we will be decided what shape and the perfect colour is going to suit you best. I will always take into account everything from how you wear your make up, your lifestyle, your skin tone, facial features and structure. Your consultation will take from 30-40min.This will be followed by your initial treatment .6-8 weeks after you will be ready for your touch up appointment, this will complete your journey.

Will my permanent make up look natural?

Yes, the healed result will look very natural. Because this technique it created hair stroke by hair stroke so it looks very natural. Ombre brows will heal soft just more defined then Microblading. The overall look is fully bespoke to you.

Can you go over my existing Permanent cosmetics?

This will depend on how faded it is, I would recommend letting old permanent cosmetics to fade as much as possible to get the best result. If you do have existing permeant cosmetics on your brows please send over a picture via email before your consultation. For me to assess you amount of pigment present and weather you are suitable.

Will the shape be drawn on first before you start the treatment?

Yes of course, we will be spent time together discussing your design. Iwill create the drawing with precise measurements and my trained eye to create your ideal shape, this will be tweaked until you are 100% happy with the shape before we start tattooing.

Can I have SPMU if I have medical issues or taking medication?

I will take a full assessment of your medical history prior to the treatment at your consultation. There may be some medical condition which may stop you from having treatment. I will send you out the medical history form before your consultation for you to fill out. While there are some occasions when people are not suitable for treatment due to medical matters, it is rare.

Can I wear make-up after the treatment?

You can wear make-up straight after the treatment but please don’t wear make up on your brows until they have healed. You will need to wait until the treatment area has healed, this could take around one-two weeks

Is the 6-8 week touch up appointment necessary?

After 6 -8 weeks your touch up appointment will take place and isvital. Your touch up appointment is to perfect any areas, touch up anypigment that may have been lost during the healing process. Healed Results will vary from person to person, so more work may be required on the touch up appointment. If you want to change the shape slightly or adjust the colour slightly, this will be done at the touch up appointment.

Is permanent make up suitable for every skin type?

Microblading is suitable for most skin types although if your skin isexcessively oily or thin skin I would not recommend Microblading,.Ombre brows is suitable for all skin types.
