THE HEALING PROCESS

Emma

Updated: Feb 24, 2021

Below is a detailed description on what you should expect over the next 6 weeks while your brows are healing.

Day 1

Your brows will look red and feel slightly tender.

Day 2- 5

The hair strokes will start to intensify in colour, this is due to scab formation, they will also feel itchy at this point.

Day 5-10

At this point of the process the scabs start to exfoliate and brows can look patchy. This is the most daunting part of the process.

Day 10-30

Strokes will be at its lightest, this is part of the body’s natural healing process. At this point you may want to add brow powder or pencil over your brows. The colour and strokes will then push back through during this time, strokes may appear true to implanted size or expand slightly in thickness depending on skin type, age and unpredictability of skin.

6 weeks- It’s time for your touch up.

This is the point to perfect any areas that haven’t healed its full potential, any tweaks in shape and colour can be made at this appointment.

Maintenance colour boost is recommended 12-18 months to keep your brows looking fresh. I have read and understood the aftercare and healing process.
